Garrett Kuipers
Garrett William Kuipers, an Army lieutenant, graduated Feb. 22 from Black Hawk Helicopter School at Fort Rucker, Ala., and was deployed March 6 to Korea as a MedEvac helicopter pilot. He graduated from Calabasas High School in 2005. Kuipers earned an aeronautical degree from Embry Riddle University in Ariz. in 2010.
