Boy Scouts spearhead park restoration

LEADER OF THE PACK— Boy Scout Troop 246 member Herschel Weintraub, a resident of Calabasas, takes charge of the volunteers during restoration work last week at Malibu Creek State Park. Troop 246 of West Hills teamed up with Troop 642 of Hidden Hills for the project. Weintraub was performing his Eagle Scout community service project.
