Robert Benton of the Volunteers in Policing (VIP) program in Westlake Village was a Level I (unpaid) reserve lieutenant with the city of San Fernando Police Department. Benton is not a retired, former full-time salaried law enforcement officer. It was the Colorado River Aqueduct pictured in last week’s paper.
