Younger generation to present Charity League Fashion Show
10th, 12th grade students will model

"California Knows How to Party" is the theme for the National Charity League’s (NCL) modelette fashion show at 1 p.m. on Sun., March 17 in the First Neighborhood Community Center, 31830 Village Center Road, Westlake Village.

Tenth and 12th grade members of this mother-daughter charity organization will model contemporary clothes from local merchants "portraying the fun of California nights."

As members of NCL for six years, the girls’ involvement focuses on many aspects of their character and personal development by contributing to the community through volunteer service, receiving guidance and instruction in social situations, and exposure to the arts and culture.

The modelette program is part of the six-year plan emphasizing the enhancement of both self-awareness and self-confidence.

Guests can participate in an opportunity drawing of various items and will receive special gifts from Michael Kors Fragrances.

Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door.
