YogaWorks will open a new health center in Westlake Village in June. The eco-friendly facility will feature yoga and fitness for beginner to advanced students of all ages and include a dedicated area for children, community areas, a tea lounge and more.
YogaWorks Westlake Village features a quiet room, created as an inner retreat with a living tree at its center, a library filled with educational audio and visual yoga information, fully outfitted Pilates room, wireless Internet access and locker room with full showers and towel service.
KidsWorks, the children’s center, offers a child area and educational programming.
Students can schedule unlimited yoga adviser consultations for one-on-one guidance. Classes will be offered daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. YogaWorks teaching draws from three traditional lineages of yoga: Ashtanga, Iyengar and Viniyoga.
In addition to in-studio classes, YogaWorks at Work makes it possible to experience yoga in the workplace- a teacher will visit an organization during working hours and lead students in a class.
The facility, designed by award-winning Los Angeles architects Marmol + Radziner, features energy efficient and environmentally conscious materials such as sustainable woods, recycled board and natural tiles.
