School aces contest geared toward recycling awareness

Yerba Buena Elementary School in Agoura Hills won a first- place and second- place finish in the 2018 California K-12 Schools Recy- cling Challenge.

The annual statewide program encourages a healthy competition among schools and school districts in an effort to promote on-campus recycling and make students more aware about the need for a cleaner California.
