Workshop looks at housing needs

A homelessness interfaith community action event will take place from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sun., Dec. 3 at congregation Or Ami, 26115 Mureau Road, Ste. B, Calabasas.

Jews, Christians, Muslims, Baha’i and other faith groups will gather to learn what can be done about homelessness in Los Angeles County.

The event will also provide an opportunity to build interfaith relationships.

Attendees will hear from state Sen. Henry Stern, tour apartments of formerly homeless individuals and meet people whose lives have been changed by permanent supportive housing.

The event is suitable for all ages. To reserve a seat, go to orami.org/RSVP. For more information, email rabbinic intern Lori Levine at loril@orami.org.
