Women’s club supports animal rescue organization



The Agoura Valley Women’s Club recently gave a check for $600 to Agoura Hills-based LIFE animal rescue, a nonprofit organization that rescues homeless dogs and cats and fosters them until permanent homes can be found.

The funds were raised at a recent document shredding event at the Agoura Recreation Center parking lot. The cost of the shredding was $10 per box. The club sponsored a similar shredding event in May, which raised $500.
