Women perform mitzvah for foster kids

SEW NICE—Chana Kreitzer and Ann Burke make tote bags to give to children on their way to foster care duringTemple Ner Ami’s Mitzvah Day on July 17. Mitzvah Day is a time when the temple members perform good deeds for others. Temple Ner Ami is a Reform congregation in Camarillo that is affiliated with the Union of Reform Judaism, formerly the Union of American Hebrew Congregations. The temple has a membership of more than 200 families.
