Susan Stone, a broker associate with White House Properties, was commended this week for her outstanding production by company president Marty Williams.

Stone closed three escrows and opened two during the last seven-day period.

Nationwide, Stone is one of the 4 percent of all Realtors who hold the residential real estate council designation and the 5 percent of Realtors who hold the Graduate Realtor Institute designation.

Her other professional credentials are a California Department of Real Estate broker’s license, seniors real estate specialist, broker price opinion specialist, certified negotiation expert and notary public.

She earned a professional designation in marketing and merchandising from UCLA. Her bachelor’s degree is from Pomona College in Claremont, and her master’s degree studies were at UCLA, USC and Cal State Northridge.

She has written articles on real estate topics for the Pasadena Business Journal, Los Angeles Daily News, Hispanic Times and the Acorn Newspapers.

Stone’s clients say that her myriad skills, including her familiarity with different languages and cultures, her formal marketing background, computer and technological proficiency, and competence with legal contracts, give her an edge over other Realtors.

Licensed since 1988 and a veteran of the depressed markets, including the recessions surrounding the 1994 Northridge earthquake and the 2007-09 sub-prime mortgage recession, Stone has extensive experience in all market cycles and property types, including short sales and foreclosures.

Stone provides services and a network able to serve her clients’ needs including decluttering and organizing, staging using existing furnishings at no charge, appraising valuables, holding estate sales, senior housing services and notarizing.

She has always demonstrated her caring philosophy by limiting her clientele to only a few buyers and sellers at one time in order to be personally available to them when needed. Her elderly clients and their families appreciate this.

Susan Stone was raised in the San Fernando Valley and has been a resident of Agoura Hills since 1982. She is fluent in Spanish, French and Portuguese, and has worked for U.S. companies negotiating real estate contracts involving a number of foreign governments.

She specializes in the eastern Conejo Valley and western San Fernando Valley markets. Email her at ss@susanstone.com or call (818) 634-8502.
