Westlake Village resident lands roll in ‘The Crucible’

Linfield College student Alexis Clements of Westlake Village has been cast in "The Crucible," Arthur Miller’s award-winning drama about the Salem witch hunts. The play will be the first major production in the new Marshall Theatre in Ford Hall at Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore.

Clements, a senior theater arts major, will portray Mary Warren in the theatrical production. The role will serve as the senior acting thesis for Clements, who’s the daughter of Richard and Louise Clements of Westlake Village and is a 2000 graduate of Louisville High School.

At Linfield, Clements has been involved in several plays, including "Dancing at Lughnasa," "Boy Gets Girl" and "Reckless."
