Westlake Village library now offers summer reading programs





The Westlake Village Library’s summer reading program offers a variety of special treats for young readers. Tickets are required for programs scheduled from June 20-July 18 and are available at no charge on a first-come basis at the library’s reference desk. All events are held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.


June 20: Talking Hands: Storytelling and Sign Language by Kathleen Zundell. Tickets are now available.


June 27: Ventriloquist and Puppet Friends by comedian Joe Gandelman. Tickets available June 9.


July 11: Radio Musical Mystery Show by KC & Company. Tickets available June 23.


July 18: Magic of Mime by Judi Garratt. Tickets available June 30.


Sign-ups at the library are required for events scheduled from July 25-Aug. 15. Sign-ups are currently underway and limited to ages six and up.


July 25: Mime Workshop with mime Judi Garratt.


Aug. 1: Musical Instruments with Linnea.


Aug. 8: Beginning Magic with Tony Daniels.


Aug. 15: Beginning Origami with Marie Lyons.
