The Westlake Village City Council approved last week a state-mandated housing plan that identifies potential land for at least 315 additional housing units to meet growth expectations of the city over the next three years.
Councilmembers unanimously approved the plan, but disagreed whether the land designated for future homes is realistic or necessary.
