City installing almost two dozen charging stations for public use

PLUGGED IN—The charging stations will have standardized plugs. Tesla drivers will need an adapter.The City of Westlake Village, traveling on the road to progress, said it wants to be electric-car-friendly.
At its meeting last week the Westlake Village City Council voted to install 22 electric vehicle charging stations for public use—16 at the community park on Thousand Oaks Boulevard and six at City Hall.
