Desperate times call for desperate measures
As the drought worsens, the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District has hired the services of a security firm to catch water wasters in the act.
Beginning June 1, the extra eyeballs will be monitoring the water-use habits of 65,000 Las Virgenes customers from Hidden Hills to Westlake Village.
With home and business sprinklers still running amok, Big Brother will be watching.
