Water board stops penalizing for overconsumption



Citing the state’s improved water supply, the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District Board of Directors voted Jan. 25 to suspend penalty surcharges for customers who use too much water. The nopenalty policy takes effect with billings issued at the beginning of February.
