The Pacific Mesothelioma Center will host its sixth annual 5K walk/hike fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sun., Oct. 22 at Paramount Ranch, 2903 Cornell Road, Agoura Hills.
On-site registration will open at 8:30 a.m.
The day will start with either a 5K or 1K walk at the ranch. A catered lunch will follow, along with vendors, live music and an opportunity drawing.
All of the money raised will benefit mesothelioma research.
The Pacific Mesothelioma Center is a division of the Pacific Heart, Lung & Blood Institute, a nonprofit medical research institute that seeks to find better treatment options for diseases of the heart, lung and blood including mesothelioma, a cancer caused by exposure to asbestos that disproportionately affects veterans.
