Volunteer opportunities abound at Interface

Interface Children Family Services is offering the opportunity for volunteers to work with youth and their families, or women and children victims of domestic violence. Training begins this month. Volunteers must possess sensitivity, compassion and caring for youth and those who are experiencing all types of crisis school problems, lack of communication, runaway, drug/alcohol concerns.

Interface is also offering the opportunity for volunteers to work with youth and their families in their Youth Mediation Program. A 32-hour training program will begin in early November and will prepare volunteers to mediate resolutions between youthful offenders and their victims and in parent/child conflicts.
