The Areté Vocal Ensemble will kick off its seventh season at Cal Lutheran University with “An American in Paris” concert at 2 p.m. Sun., Nov. 8, in Samuelson Chapel at 165 Chapel Lane on the Thousand Oaks campus.
The 30-member group will perform music by French composers Claude Debussy, Gabriel Fauré and Maurice Ravel as well as George Gershwin, who wrote “An American in Paris” after traveling to the French capital.
