A hard-hitting disease has been killing oak trees in Northern California and has spread as close as Santa Barbara County.
So far no cases have been reported in Ventura or Los Angeles counties.
The disease reportedly can wipe out an oak tree within two weeks.
"It’s an imminent threat—we must face that," said Janice Lee, Calabasas Mayor Pro Tem.
