Understanding helper dogs

There is a big difference in a service animal and a therapy animal. Ms. Fagan (Acorn, Oct. 6) cites to the Americans with Disabilities Act that service animals are “not legally required to wear any identification, nor are their owners required to carry any documents showing their animal’s special status.”
