U.S. servicemen, women get help returning to civilian life

When they go through boot camp or basic training, service personnel in the U.S. armed forces face incredible stress. They’re up before dawn. Their days are long and their nights are short. They’re challenged every day, mentally and physically.

The transition from civilian to military life is abrupt and intense.

But the biggest challenge might come later, when those same service members are released from active duty.
