Attention all moms: Breakfast is served.

Boy Scout Troop 127 will present the 55th annual Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sun., May 13 at Malibou Lake Mountain Club, 29033 W. Lake Vista Drive, Agoura.

The Scouts’ tradition of honoring moms began in 1963 as a fundraiser and has grown into a community event where dads cook and Scouts ages 11 to 18 serve as hosts and waiters.

The menu is comprised of pancakes, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit and bagels with coffee, juice and milk. The cost is $5.

The family-friendly meal is made possible in part by food, product and service donations from area grocers and small businesses.

Throughout the morning, door prizes will be randomly awarded.

Before and after breakfast, attendees can purchase tickets to win gift baskets and a cash raffle.

Event proceeds will help to purchase troop equipment, support operational costs and provide scholarships for Scouts in need.

Chartered by Business and Professional Optimists Club of Conejo Valley, Troop 127 has provided mentoring, youth leadership, outdoor adventure and community service programs since 1946.

Private Lake Malibou is where the troop’s current Scoutmaster, Geoff Gunn, grew up. His late parents conceived the breakfast idea 55 years ago when senior Gunn was Scoutmaster. Geoff Gunn has served as Scoutmaster since 1996.

Advance tickets are not required. Tickets will be available on Sunday morning. Parking is free. Attendees do not have to be related to a Scout.
