While some children’s programs stop for the summer, Tot Tot Tot will enjoy its 14th summer in Agoura Hills.

"We have created an atmosphere of enjoyment for parents and their children, 12 months to 3 years of age, so why would we close for the summer?" asked owner Anne Altman.

The children will have the opportunity for art classes, song and dance, use of motor skills in a playroom equipped with riding and climbing toys, tunnels, a ball pit, slides, basketball, and kitchen play.

Once a week, for either an hour or an hour and a half, a parent shares quality time with other parents and toddlers. Most people are not taught how to parent. At Tot Tot Tot, a "pre-pre-school of sorts," parents do not drop their kids off. Rather, they participate in the hands-on learning experience.

Parents are constantly amazed when their 16-month-old or 2-year-old puts a toy away for Altman or sits and listens to her read a story. Many pre-school teachers have commented that the children are so well prepared for pre-school after they have attended Tot Tot Tot that all they have left to deal with is separation from their parent.

To register for July, please call (818) 991-KIDS. Space is limited.
