‘Tis the season to get the flu vaccine




Health experts say getting the flu vaccine now will likely help keep the holiday season merry and bright for Ventura County residents.
While seasonal flu activity begins as early as October, the virus spreads most rampantly between December and March, usually infecting an estimated 5 to 20 percent of Americans every year, according to the Atlanta-based Centers of Disease Control and Prevention.
