Time to cut the rug, sort of


Prom has long stood as a high school milestone, a demarcation in time that creates indelible lifetime memories.
When the pandemic struck last year, there was no dancing around it. The great senior class tradition was canceled at all local high schools.
Now, prom season is back and we’re heartened to see school districts are making plans, albeit modified, to ensure seniors will once again experience their evening of fun.
And why not? The tide is turning against COVID-19, and everyone 16 and older...
