Jeffrey Samuels wrote a letter to the editor on Aug. 7 about getting a ticket for illegally tinted front driver’s side and passenger side automobile windows. My sympathy to him because of the insensitive treatment he felt he received during what must be a difficult time.
But I strongly disagree that the ticket was for an “insignificant infraction.” Being able to make eye contact with drivers is essential for safety, and darkly tinted windows can prevent that.
