This water bill doesn’t float

The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District board of directors is at it again with their subterfuge of nondisclosure.

We citizens must don our SCUBA gear to find out the real air bubble behind AB 2050, a state bill that supposedly ensures communities served by noncompliant water-treatment systems still receive safe and reliable drinking water.

Submerged in The Acorn’s “Eye on water” article last week, below the fold, is not revealed that the State Department of Water Resources and the California Municipal Utilities Association are pushing this heretofore non floatable piece of legislation to the surface by cleverly worded guises designed to fog over the fact that it reeks of the intent to implement the human rights agenda into water policy.
