They drank the GOP Kool-Aid

By now most people know that Paul Ryan lied about almost everything during his convention speech, even blaming Obama for an auto plant that closed down in his home town in December of 2008 while Bush was still the president.

We know that almost all undocumented loans took place between 2001 and 2006 when the economy began to collapse. Facts do not play well to these patrons of this mega-church known as the GOP convention where sycophants sat with eyes glazed, worshiping every word.

Ryan represents voters who believe a woman can only get pregnant from rape “if her eggs are asking for it” and that allowing a woman to die in child birth is a “religious freedom.”

Today’s GOP is an emotionally disturbed, sexually repressed, very confused bunch who place no value whatsoever on consistency. Ergo, when they blather endlessly about “the Constitution” they simultaneously run their religion up our backsides; when they say they are “pro-life” they call anyone who opposes the wars or the death penalty a traitor; when they say they support free markets what they are really describing is fraud; and when they say they promote freedom, they mean only those freedoms that do not conflict with their literal and superstitious interpretation of the Bible, which by the way is most freedoms, but they see no inconsistency at all.

Their mantra of “too much regulation” is like telling a guy with the runs he should be treated with prune juice.

Middle class income has either remained stagnant or declined for the last half a century while the rich have become exponentially richer and these guys want to sell “trickle down”? Next time you hear someone mention “wealth redistribution” you should kiss their ring. If they use the term “class warfare” just say “you’re damn right.”
