The sciences fly high at air show


The STEM Pavilion returns to the Wings Over Camarillo Air Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat., and Sun., Aug. 21 and 22 at Camarillo Airport, 555 Airport Way, in a large hangar on the west end of the event,

The STEM Pavilion highlights the latest in aviation and aerospace and other science, technology, engineering and math fields. Families and kids can play and learn about STEM programs in Ventura County.

The STEM Pavilion will feature robotics demonstrations for all age groups, a large drone cage with experts to help guests learn to fly drones, opportunities to talk to pilots and fly simulators, and the opportunity to build things.

Guests can visit different exhibitors with hands-on activities. Attendees can fly a drone or a flight simulator, build and fly a paper airplane, build a Lego project, play in a wind tunnel or watch robots in action.
