The Middle East

I am 100 percent agnostic and I do not practice any faith.

The world didn’t really bat an eye over the 170,000 killed in the Syrian civil war; yawned at Boko Haram and Al-Shabaab atrocities in central Africa; and showed little concern when the Muslim Brotherhood was running Egypt into the crapper; but boy oh boy, let a Jew lift a finger in self defense and the haters who are tripping over their own feet to delegitimize the state of Israel squeal like stuck pigs.

A member of the Yazidi minority in Iraq, where fundamentalists are currently beheading children, told the New Yorker. “In one day, they killed more than 2,000 Yazidi, and the whole world says, ‘Save Gaza, save Gaza.’”

Americans have already seen the World Trade Center fall and 3,000 Americans of mixed ethnicity die.

While murdering tens of thousands, radical Islamists have destroyed Buddhist antiquities in Afghanistan, smashed 3,000- year-old Assyrian statues, and are now calling for the destruction of the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx in Egypt, yet it appears that many Europeans are still so anti-Semitic that they will wait until London Bridge actually falls down, albeit in Arizona, and the Louvre crumbles, to get the picture.

Some folks are in severe need of a little history lesson.

Before the United Nations created the state of Israel, Jews were driven from their ancestral homelands where they had coexisted for thousands of years in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Algeria, Tunisia, Yemen and Morocco after having their property stolen.

They huddled together in a tiny sparsely populated area of the Middle East, where they were cornered and fought for their lives. They are still fighting for their lives.

The question you really have to ask yourself is: Do you support ethnic cleansing? If you do, then at least be honest about who and what you are.

Four thousand years of constant persecution culminated with men, woman and children holding hands while marching naked into gas chambers. I say, never again.
