‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’ coming to Thousand Oaks this weekend





The Young Artists Ensemble will present "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe," from Fri., Nov. 3 through Sun., Nov. 5 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Performances of C.S. Lewis’s classic tale will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.


A cast of more than 30 young actors ages 10-19 and two alumni guest artists will perform in the production, an enchanting tale of four children who discover an entrance to a magical world. A new score by local composer Christopher Hoag will be featured.


Evening tickets cost $15 ($12 students/seniors) and matinee tickets are $12 ($10 students/seniors). A special fundraising performance is set for 5:30 p.m. on Sun., Nov. 5 for the Tedjasaputra family which recently lost their young wife and mother. Tickets are $20.
