School administrators speak their own language


When it comes to the language of public education these days, it seems a doctorate in education is needed to decipher all of the acronyms. Whether it’s STEM or CAASPP or IB or RtI, many parents get frustrated not knowing what teachers are talking about at meetings or what their child’s report card means.
Parents aren’t alone in their confusion. District administrators and staff are also having a hard time keeping the education alphabet soup straight.
