Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society’s 24-hour fundraiser, will be at Agoura High School on Sat., April 29. Teams will walk or run, relay style, around the school’s
rack.
Opening ceremonies are at 10 a.m., when cancer survivors circle the track to start
he event. At 9 p.m. the lights go out for a candle lighting ceremony honoring those who ultimately lost their battle with cancer.
Participants bring their own tents, set up a campsite and spend the night under the stars with their
eam. The event concludes at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Funds raised will enable
he American Cancer Society to support local services for cancer patients and their families.
