Teacher and former students remember the good times, challenging times at
Oak View’s 20th reunion celebration
REMEMBRANCES OF THINGS PAST––Oak View High School Principal Millie Andress, wearing glasses at left, hugs retiring teacher Christine Brown during a poignant ceremony last week at the school in Oak Park. In addition to Brown’s retirement, the school hosted a 20th reunion celebration for many of its graduates. Below, 18-month-old Anthony Myers becomes lost in a wall of photos depicting the history of the school and the hundreds of students who have attended over the years. Oak View is a continuation high school that offers classes and programs for students who had trouble in traditional high schools.
