It’s been a rough time lately on the coronavirus front. Two weeks ago, the state announced that Ventura County had slid back into the most restrictive purple tier.

This week, Los Angeles County, which never left the purple tier, shattered records with more than 7,500 new daily cases. Outdoor dining is once again prohibited and restaurant owners cannot catch a break.
