Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, the band co-founded by Scotty Morris and drummer Kurt Sondegren, made its debut in their hometown of Ventura in 1993.

The group, whose core lineup has been in place since 1995, is comprised of Morris (lead vocals and guitar), Sondergren (drums and percussion), Dirk Shumaker (double bass and vocals), Andy Rowley (baritone saxophone and vocals), Glen Marhevka (trumpet), Kare Hunter (saxophones and clarinet) and Joshua Levy (piano and arranger).

Joining them on the road are Anthony Bonsera Jr. on lead trumpet and Alex Henderson on trombone.

The band’s original music includes “You and Me and the Bottle Makes Three” and “Go Daddy-O,” featured in the 1996 indie film “Swingers.”

The band’s discography includes the platinum-selling “Americana Deluxe” and “This Beautiful Life,” “Save My Soul” and “Everything You Want for Christmas.”

Tickets are $41 to $61 with group discounts available.
