Swastika on sheriff’s patrol car

An unknown person drew a swastika and wrote the letters “W” and “P,” presumably “white power,” on a patrol car stationed at the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station in Calabasas.

It’s not known if the incident occurred while the car was parked at the station or was out on patrol, Capt. Pat Davoren told The Acorn.

At the station, the car was not parked in an area of the parking lot patrolled by cameras, the captain said.

No damage occurred as the culprit made the marks while the car was wet from rain. The graffiti dried and disappeared.

Authorities took pictures and reported the incident to sheriff’s headquarters as a hate crime.

There are no witnesses or suspects, Davoren said.
