GLOW—Tim Aupperle of Thousand Oaks submitted this impressive photograph of the so-called Super Moon on Sat., June 22. On that eve, the moon was at the closest point in its orbit to Earth and so appeared larger than usual. Aupperle took this picture at 9 p.m. in his backyard using a Canon 7d camera with a Canon 100 x 400mm lens.
