‘Sunshine’ continues in Westlake

Academy Award-winner Istvan Szabo and acclaimed playwright Israel Horovitz bring the story of the Sonnenschein ("Sunshine") family’s rise and fall, loves, losses, passions, tragic betrayals and unbreakable bonds.

Over three generations, "Sunshine" unfolds against a backdrop of political turmoil and war.

Ralph Fiennes gives a tour-de-force performance as the patriarch of each generation, chronologically playing grandfather, father and son.

Moving and epic, the film explores the fascinating territory where desire, family, politics and entangled lovers converge–both remarkable stories of romance and of a family’s need to assimilate emerge.

"Sunshine" is a tale that spans 60 years of the 20th Century starring an eminent supporting cast that includes Academy Award nominee Rosemary Harris, Rachel Weisz, Jennifer Ehle, Molly Parker, Deborah Kara Unger, and Academy Award winner William Hurt.

"Sunshine" continues this week at the Westlake Twin, Lakeview Canyon at Agoura Road in Westlake Village.
