Summer school registration starts

Registration is underway in the Las Virgenes Unified School District (LVUSD) for the high school summer school program, in which students may enroll to accelerate their four-year plan or repeat a failed class.

The district is piloting an online registration system, available 24 hours a day and intended to save parents and students from standing in long lines on campus.

Students currently enrolled in 10th and 11th grade may register online using their home computer. Online registration may be used to select classes that are available for acceleration only.

Online registration must be completed by 7 p.m., Wed., April 25. On-campus registration will be held from 3 to 7 p.m., Tues., April 24 in Room A-1 at Agoura High School and from 3 to 7 p.m., Wed., April 25 in the lecture hall of Calabasas High School. Applications for high school students needing to repeat a class are available in counseling offices. Summer schedules will be mailed June 8.

Students who failed to receive a summer school registration packet in the mail should call Joe Nardo at (818) 878-5220.
