PLAY REVIEW /// ‘Chicago’

As I watched Calabasas High School’s recent production of “Chicago,” the first thought that came to my mind was, “These can’t be high school kids.”

Bill Garrett, the school’s drama director, is a magician when it comes to producing musicals, and with this show he pulled another gaudy rabbit out of his hat with the help of a cast full of “three-tool players” who can act, sing and dance with style and authority.
