The community-based Manna organization has started its Students Stamping Out Hunger food drive program.
The program provides an opportunity for young people to meet school-required community service hours while helping Manna receive food items.
Students register their food drives, distribute fliers about them and collect food. The items can then be dropped off from 7: 30 a. m. to 2 p. m. Monday through Friday. Students will receive one hour for every two bags of food collected.
Interested students can go to www.mannaconejo.org and click on the “Food Drive Toolkit” icon on the “I Want to Help” page of the website.
