With political turmoil going on in Washington, one would think that it would be a great time for comedians like celebrated “rant-conteur” Lewis Black. But as Black complained, during his 90-minute appearance at the Kavli Theatre in Thousand Oaks on Nov. 1, “It’s the hardest time to be funny, and I think you know why.”
