Your March 18, 2004 edition of The Acorn included a letter from Eli Eisenberg of Agoura Hills which included numerous misstatements regarding the new Calabasas Library building project.
In 2000, the people of California passed Proposition 14, a $350 million bond act for new library projects. These funds can only be used for library construction projects and are not available for welfare or other state general fund programs.
