A headline-grabbing investigation of 3rd District Supervisor Sheila Kuehl has taken a new twist.
Less than a week after Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies raided the Democrat’s Santa Monica home, state Attorney General Rob Bonta ordered LASD off the case, citing the perception of a conflict of interest because of Sheriff Alex Villanueva’s long-running feud with the supervisor.
