The Ventura County Star will close its printing facilities in Camarillo and contract the Los Angeles Times to print the newspaper in a cost-cutting move that will impact some three dozen production department employees, the company announced.
The Times will begin printing the Star at a 325,000-square-foot facility in Los Angeles starting with the July 12 edition, according to a recent report in the Star.
