Stand-up citizens score again




ADAM DAVIS/The Acorn  A NICE CAMPUS WILL BE EVEN NICER THIS AUTUMN-John Hurford (second row, third from left) of Agoura Beautiful donated $400 to plant trees at Willow Elementary School because of a student's essay. In the back row are (left to right) principal Brent Noyes, George Annino,  Hurford and Bob Smith. In the front row are Connie Kokiousis, Camille Mahlknecht (who wrote the winning essay) and Mary Evans. Annino, Hurford and Smith are members of the Agoura/Las Virgenes Optimist Club. The donation came from Agoura Beautiful and the Optimists.
