Spring forward




Don’t forget to turn your clocks forward an hour on Sunday at 2 a.m. when daylight saving time returns. Some people make the adjustment easier, they say, by changing their clocks on Saturday night and going to bed earlier than usual. The adjustment seems easier in the fall, when clocks go backward.

The purpose of daylight saving is twofold. It supposedly saves energy and gives people more daylight hours for leisure time activities.

Standard time will return on Sun., Nov. 7.
