Parenting is never easy, but during and after divorce, parenting differences become exaggerated, and the willingness to compromise evaporates. Some situations escalate out of control, leading one or the other parent to sue for custody. But, according to the Coalition for Cooperative Divorce, it doesn’t have to be this way.
